Hinger had 18 kills and a pair of aces against the 49ers as the CSUN duo had their season record leveled at 3-3.
At No. 2, Haina and Sato fell in quick order to the LBSU duo of Tyler Jackson and Anete Brinke 21-10, 21-12. In the No. 3 match, Haake and Pinkney forced Bre Mackie and Jenelle Hudson to three sets after winning the opening set 21-14.
