Nolan Bumstead provided plenty of hitting as well, hitting .333 with a home run and two RBI. Riley had an opening day to remember, going 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and two runs scored.Â

A jack of all trades, Toerner made dazzling catches in center field in the Portland series. He also picked up two hits in the three games including a double.Â
CSUN will face Towson for the first time in program history this weekend. In its history, CSUN has only faced Delaware (2001) and William & Mary (2016) from the Colonial Athletic Association. In addition to the Tigers, the Matadors will also face Vanderbilt and Holy Cross for the first time in school history during the 2017 season.Â
