NORTHRIDGE, Calif.-- CSUN plays at home for the final time in 2018 when the Matadors welcome San José State to the Matadome Wednesday night.
Eric Kaback has the audio call on the CSUN Sports Network presented by Dignity Health. The pregame show is set for 6:50 p.m. with the tip scheduled for 7 p.m. Fans who bring an unwrapped toy into the event will be admitted for free. You can also purchase two tickets for the price of one for the game.
The Spartans come to Northridge with a 1-8 record after dropping a 62-56 decision to Santa Clara last Saturday. Cyndi Lewis leads the Spartans in scoring (11.1), rebounds (5.3) and blocks (1.0). She is the Spartans' second best percentage shooter (.378). This is the 14th time that CSUN and SJSU are playing with the Spartans leading the all-time series 8-5.
Channon Fluker recorded her 64th career double-double as CSUN fell 58-42 to USC last Sunday in Los Angeles. Fluker scored 22 points and 14 rebounds. She added five blocks and now has moved into sole possession of 11th place in Big West history with 1,806 career points. She is the Division I active leader in career rebounds with 1,214 and is second in Big West history in the category.
