ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH JASON FLOWERS
- "Much like the last time we played Cal Poly, our defense allowed us to win the game. We didn't get it done offensively. We weren't nearly as aggressive as a whole as we wanted to be. There were opportunities that we didn't take advantage of early on. To the group's credit, we fought back and made it a one-possession game in the second half. We just couldn't make the plays when we need to and they did. Credit to them for the win. We will go back to the drawing board and get ready for Thursday against UC Davis."
