Morgan Signs Tinsley To National Letter Of Intent

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.--CSUN head softball coach Charlotte Morgan has announced the signing of Daisy Tinsley to a National Letter of Intent to continue her playing career with the Matadors.
Tinsley will join CSUN after graduating from Wheatland Union High School in Wheatland, Calif., in the Spring of 2021. She was selected All-League in 2018. Through her first 50 career high school games, Tinsley is hitting .472 (75 hits) with 32 RBI. She has a .533 on-base percentage, scored 69 runs, and stolen 38 bases in 39 attempts. Tinsley has also walked 20 times. Tinsley played travel softball for All American Sports Academy.
"We are thrilled to bring in Daisy," Morgan said. "She has so many different tools in her tool belt. She brings speed and power to our offense and defense. She comes from a hardworking family and it's going raise our level of work ethic in our program."
Tinsley joins Alexis Garcia in the 2022 recruiting class. Alexis Lemus and Jaclyn Silva have signed with CSUN and are scheduled to begin their Matador careers in 2021.
