2022 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
2021 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in nine games, starting three times...recorded one hit in eight at-bats...drove in one run...walked twice and struck out twice...recorded eight putouts, two assists, and one error.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Bishop Amat High School…a 2016-17 first-team Alhambra All-League selection…awarded the 2017 Alhambra Varsity Silver Slugger Award…named second-team San Gabriel Valley All-Area in 2017…chosen 2018 first-team Alhambra All-League and 2018 Almont League Most Valuable Player…earned first-team All-League and first team San Gabriel Valley All-Area in 2019…team won 2019 Del Rey League Division title…selected to the 2019 CIF Academic Team San Gabriel Valley team…played for the Junior Mexico National Team from 2017-19…ended prep career with a .422 career batting average, 15 home runs and 70 RBI.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jacob Silva and Lauren Merrill…stepmother is Alicia Sigrid...an English-creative writing major...favorites include the Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Rams, Aaron Donald, Seth Rogan, Drew Barrymore, American Horror Story, The Conjuring, Italian Food, The Doors, and Travis Scott…chose CSUN because of the high academic standards and also for her head coach, Charlotte Morgan…says the toughest think about being an athlete is the sacrifices people don't see, the long hours of conditioning, late academic nights, and the early morning grinding which results in the preparation of being the best version of yourself…when she has time to relax, she loves to spend time with all of her animals and watch Netflix outside in her backyard…the most famous person she has met is Josh Duhamel…the person in history she would like to meet is Marie Antoinette…the best advice she has been given is “Nothing is given in this world, you have to earn it”…her greatest hero is Jackie Robinson because he didn't care what people said, he was just there to play ball.
