WHAT'S COMING UP
The Matadors (4-3-3, 1-1 Big West) travel to Sacramento State on Wednesday for a 3 p.m. start before hosting UC Davis on Saturday at 7 p.m. Both matches will be streamed by ESPN+ with all links on GoMatadors.com.

ABOUT SACRAMENTO STATE
The Hornets are 6-3-2, 1-1 in The Big West after losing 3-2 at UC San Diego last Saturday in La Jolla.

Francisco Magana has four goals which leads the team and places him fifth in the Big West in the category. His nine points have Magana tied for fifth in the conference with UC Riverside's Noah Lopez. Mac Learned has appeared in seven matches, making 16 saves. He is fifth in the league in goals against average (1.39). CSUN and Sacramento State played to a 2-2 tie last season in Northridge. The Matadors lead the all-time series 14-9-2.

UC Davis fell 1-0 at UC Riverside last Saturday to drop to 1-6-3 overall, 0-1-1 in The Big West. The Aggies host UC Irvine on Wednesday before traveling to Northridge.

Cason Goodman leads the Aggies in goals with two and points with five. Two players, Max Glasser and Ethan Hoard have recorded two assists this season. Charles Janssen has appeared in nine matches in goal for UC Davis. He is 1-4-3. He has charted a 1.10 goals against average which is the third best in the conference. The Aggies lead the all-time series 12-8-5.

LAST WEEK
Jamar Ricketts' goal in the 19th minute proved to be the difference as CSUN defeated UC Riverside 1-0 in The Big West men's soccer opener on Sept. 28 at Matador Soccer Field. Ricketts' third goal of the season was set up by Oscar Cardenas who sent the ball to Ricketts on the left side. The redshirt sophomore went low and to the right of Highlanders' goalie Carlos Gonzalez for the game winner. UC Santa Barbara defeated CSUN 4-0 on Oct. 1 in Santa Barbara.
