NORTHRIDGE, Calif.---CSUN Men's Basketball head coach Trent Johnson has announced the hiring of Logan Baumann as an assistant coach for the 2022-23 season.
Â
"We at CSUN are fortunate to bring in someone the caliber of Logan Baumann to our coaching staff," said Johnson. "He's had the opportunity to play for and work with Rick Pitino and serve on Todd Lickliter's coaching staff over his career. He's an exceptional coach with experience at all levels of play. Logan has played with and coached the greatest people in our profession. I am extremely excited to add someone with his experience, work ethic and knowledge to this program and coaching staff."

Â
"I am grateful and humbled by the opportunity to be a member of coach Johnson's coaching staff at CSUN," said Baumann. "The alignment and synergy between the athletic administration and each athletic program will enable us to pursue our championship ambitions. Further, I am looking forward to coaching in concert with the entire coaching staff. Lastly, I am incredibly thankful for the impact coach Pitino and coach Lickliter have had on my professional career and I am grateful for the mentorship coach J has provided over the last few years. I am excited to seek further growth with CSUN in the years to come."
Â
Baumann earned a bachelor's degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Economics from the University of Louisville in 2015. Baumann would further earn a master's degree in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University in 2019.
