CSUN travels to Long Beach State in a battle of 2-0 Big West teams Thursday night in Long Beach.
The Matadors welcome UC Riverside to Premier America Credit Union Arena on Saturday at 2 p.m.

ABOUT LONG BEACH STATE
The Beach opened league play with road wins at UC San Diego and UC Riverside to improve to 7-5 overall.
Tori Harris was named Big West Player of the Week on Jan. 2. She posted 21 points at UCSD before resetting her career high with 22 at UCR. Harris and another player are fifth in the Big West, scoring 13.4 points per game. KristynaJeskeova is sixth in the league in rebounding (6.5).
CSUN swept the season series a year ago from The Beach. Long Beach State leads the all-time series 43-22.
ABOUT UC RIVERSIDE
UC Riverside fell to 2-10 after losing both games on the opening weekend of league play last weekend. In addition to their loss to Long Beach State, The Highlanders lost 56-53 in double overtime at CSU Bakersfield.
Jordan Webster is UC Riverside's leading scorer (11.6). Matehya Bryant is third in the Big West, rebounding at 7.8 per game.
Saturday marks the 68th time CSUN and UCR are playing women's basketball, with the Highlanders leading the all-time series 34-33.
2-0 START
CSUN is 2-0 in league play for the first time since the 2019-20 season and only the fourth time since the Matadors joined the Big West in 2001 that CSUN is off to a 2-0 start in conference action
In 2012-13, CSUN would go 4-0 to begin league play. In 2004-05, the Matadors won their first three Big West Games.
