LONG BEACH, Calif.---In a match-up of a pair of undefeated Big West Conference teams, Anaiyah Tu'ua's three-pointer with 4.7 seconds remaining gave CSUN a 57-55 victory over Long Beach State Thursday night at the Walter Pyramid.

ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH CARLENE MITCHELL
"Anaiyah had a great game. Having experienced players on the floor who have the mindset that we can win if we are up by 10 or down by 10 allowed us to continue to compete and proved to be the difference. We made big shots down the stretch. We put the ball in Tess and Jordyn's hands late in the shot clock and made plays when needed. Our kids deserve the credit for continuing to fight during the game."
NOTES
Long Beach State falls to 7-6 overall and 2-1 in league play…CSUN is off to a 3-0 start in Big West play for only the fourth time since the Matadors joined the Big West in 2001…remaining undefeated in conference action are UC Irvine (2-0) and Hawai'i (2-0)… Jackson's 12 raised her career total to 923… Amundsen's 18 lifted her CSUN total to 576 and her overall collegiate total to 824.
