Ricketts Collects All-Far West Region Accolades

Complete United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams
NORTHRIDGE, Calif.---CSUN Men's Soccer's junior forward Jamar Ricketts was selected to the All-Far West Region Second Team for the second consecutive season on Tuesday, the United Soccer Coaches announced.
Originally from Montclair, N.J., Ricketts would earn his second-straight All-Big West First Team award this past season as he led the team in a host of offensive categories. Ricketts would post a career-best eight goals, five assists and 21 points to go with 37 shots and 23 on goal. He tallied three game-winning goals on the year while he ranked third in The Big West in goals and points and fifth in assists. His .622 shot on goal percentage this season also ranked first in the nation as of Dec. 4.
Ricketts scored five of his eight goals against Big West competition while two of his three-game winning goals came in conference action. He also recorded his first career brace late in the season in a win over UC San Diego. Ricketts was named Big West Offensive Player of the Week on two separate occasions on the year as well.
Ricketts has now earned All-Far West Region honors for the second time in his career. He is the 13th different Matador in team history to receive at least two all-region accolades.
In three seasons, Ricketts has scored 16 goals while tallying 10 assists and 42 points in 55 total matches. Eight of his 16 goals have been game winners.
