CSUN Signs Erica Adams to Women's Basketball NLI

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—CSUN women's basketball coach Carlene Mitchell has announced the signing of Erica Adams to a National Letter of Intent to continue her playing career with the Matadors.
"We are thrilled to add Erica's skill set and experience to our current roster," Mitchell said. "Erica will bring a competitive edge to the team along with her strong leadership attributes. She is a student of the game and is looking to make an immediate impact in our backcourt. Erica knew what she was looking for in a program, and we are excited CSUN was the perfect fit for her on the court and, more importantly, academically."

- Transfers to CSUN from the University of Pacific with two years of eligibility.
- She appeared in 66 games for the Tigers, starting 35 times.
- Adams scored 322 points, grabbed 137 rebounds, dished out 79 assists, and made 50 steals.
- Named to the 2021 All-WCC Freshman Team.
- She tallied a Pacific-best 19 points in 40 minutes against San Francisco on Jan. 1, 2022.
- Had a Pacific-high six steals against San José State on Nov. 20, 2021.
- A two-time Jim Capoot Heart and Hustle Award winner at California HS.
- A second-team All-EBAL selection and the SoCal Holiday Classic NCAA Division MVP.
