Will Medina enters his first season on the staff to the CSUN Baseball team in 2026-27. He serves as the team's director of analytics.

Medina joins the Matadors after spending the 2025-26 season on the Azusa Pacific baseball staff as the team's data analyst and hitting coach.

He has also served as a hitting instructor and owner of .406 Baseball Academy, where he has built and managed a private baseball training operation, which delivers thousands of lessons to athletes ages 6-18.

He previously played four years with Azusa Pacific as an outfielder. He served as team captain and was a key contributor on the team. In 2023, he hit safely in 15 of the team's final 16 games to help APU to a sweep of the inaugural PacWest Tournament Championship. Over his playing career, Medina hit .276 with seven homers, 45 RBI and 34 runs scored across 78 games.

Media graduate Magna Cum Laude at Azusa Pacific in 2025 with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Business Analytics, earning multiple Academic All-PacWest honors.
