Ellis spent two seasons at Grossmont College from 2023-25 ... posted a 3.92 ERA with 59 strikeouts two saves over 43.2 innings at Grossmont in 2025 ... began college career at Santa Clara but did not play in 2023 ... attended Patrick Henry High School and graduated in 2022 ... named a 2021 Perfect Game Preseason Underclass California Region honorable mention ... posted a 1.88 ERA and struck out 75 batters over 59.2 innings during his junior campaign in high school ... named the MVP of the Eastern League along with a two-time First Team Eastern League honoree with Patrick Henry ... helped his high school to a pair of league titles.Â
