2025 All-Big West First Team
CSUN - 2025 (Sophomore)
Named to the All-Big West First Team… Appeared in 50 games and started in 49 of them… Led CSUN in home runs (10), RBIs (38), total bases (88), slugging percentage (.595) on base percentage (.435), batting average (.351) on-base percentage (.435) and OPS (1.030)... Had five different games where she recorded three RBIs… Had eight Big West home runs, good enough for second in the conference… Had 24 RBIs in Big West games, good enough for third in the conference…Â
PRIOR TO CSUN
Westbook spent her freshman season at Oregon State in 2024 ... played in 16 games with the Beavers, starting once while primarily serving as a pinch hitter and totaling three RBI in 17 at bats ... collected her first career collegiate hit, a pinch-hit two-run homer, vs. ranked UCLA ... prepped at Arcadia High School and spent four years on the softball team, playing at first base, in the outfield and in the circle as a pitcher ... played for coach Al Gills as well as her father Darnell Westbrook at Arcadia ... collected a host of awards in high school including three first-team all-area selections and two all-league honors ... named Pacific League Co-Player of the Year as a junior ... ranked as top 30 player as well in 2023 by Extra Inning Softball ... batted .465 at the plate with nine homers, 32 runs scored and 30 RBI as a senior in high school ... previously batted .543 at the dish as a junior ... totaled 22 homers and 115 RBI with a .461 batting average over her prep career ... CLUB EXPERIENCE: played for the Corona Angels.

Parents are Darnell and Tanisha Westbrook ... she has three sisters: Tyler, Deja and Destiny ... her father played baseball at Cal State Los Angeles while her sister played softball at Oregon State and California Baptist ... her cousin Rahim Moore played football at UCLA and played in the NFL with the Denver Broncos ... favorites include the Houston Astros, Angel Reese, Jensen Ackles, Taylor Russell, Jenna Ortega, High Fidelity, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Internet, Billie Eillish and mac and cheese ... chose CSUN because she felt a connection with the coaches and it felt like home ... lists recorded a home run as her first collegiate hit as her favorite sports moment.
