Ruiz made eight appearances in her first season with CSUN ... recorded three runs and one hit over two total at bats ... collected her first career hit and scored a run at Cal State Bakersfield (4/27/24).

A softball team member at LA Mission College from 2021-23 … hit .356 with one home and 23 RBI for LAMC as a sophomore … posted a .473 on-base and a .462 slugging percentage and stole 22 bases in 23 attempts in 2023 … hit .386 with 18 RBI as a freshman … stole 53 bases in 57 attempts and scored 56 runs in 2022 … selected team MVP and second-team All-Conference in 2023 … earned All-State, first-team All-Conference, and team Golden Spike award in 2022.

Daughter of Oscar and Marlene Ruiz … favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Dallas Cowboys, Sis Bates, Kike Hernandez, Zak Prescott, Tom Cruise, Keeping up with the Kardashians, The Notebook, Pizza, Wings, Burgers, Grupo Frontera, Fuerza Regidad, Sza, Morgan Wallen, Justin Bieber, Karol G, Peso Pluma, and Netflix … chose CSUN because she loved the campus … says the best thing about being an athlete is learning to take responsibility and know you are a role model to others … says the toughest thing about being an athlete is the negative backlash you receive when not performing … the most famous person she has met is Michael B Jordan … the person in history she would like to meet is Jackie Robinson … says her greatest hero is her mom who goes through so many obstacles in life and is still the brightest soul there is.
