CSUN - 2025 (Sophomore)
Abel earned starting shortstop duties in his second season with CSUN ... started 33 of 36 games while batting .326 with 42 hits, 25 runs, 18 RBI, three doubles and two homers ... fourth on the team in base hits ... went 3-for-5 in stolen bases ... produced 12 multi-hit games ... shared the longest hit streak on the team with 15 games during the year ... batted a team-best .350 (21-for-60) over 17 road games on the year ... registered a batting average of .348 with 32 hits in Big West play ... drove in a season-high three runs at Cal State Bakersfield (3/22/25) ... went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI at San Francisco (4/2/25) ... homered for the first time in his career and scored three times vs. No. 6 Oregon State (4/18/25) ... finished with two runs, two hits, two RBI and a homer in the finale vs. No. 6 Oregon State (4/19/25) ... collected three hits and scored twice vs. Cal Poly (5/11/25) ... earned Big West All-Academic Team honors.Â
