Carter spent three seasons on the basketball team ... Earned several awards including Desert Empire League MVP in 2022 and first-team all-league twice ... Helped his team win the CIF-SS Division 3 title in 2020 while his team won the league championship in 2020 and 2022 ... Also was a high jumper on the track & field team as a junior and senior ... Won the Desert League High Jump championship in 2021 before finishing as runner-up in 2022.
