Marvin Adams is in his first season as an assistant coach with the men's basketball team. Adams comes to CSUN after spending the last two seasons at San Diego State as the team's graduate assistant coach.

No stranger to the Southern California basketball scene, Adams served as an assistant coach with Village Christian School in Sun Valley from 2012-2015. During his tenure with the Crusaders, Village Christian posted a stellar 83-12 record and won back-to-back CIF Southern Section championships in 2014 and 2015.

Before transitioning into coaching, Adams played collegiate basketball at Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC. While with the Blue Bears, Adams helped the team reach the conference championship for the first time in school history.

Adams earned a degree in business administration in 2012 from Livingstone University and Master’s in Educational Leadership from San Diego State University.
