I era ... led CSUN with four top-10 finishes while added a pair of top-20 finishes ... claimed an individual win at the UCSD Invitational (Mar. 27-28) where he carded a CSUN record score of 20-under 196 ... his season also included a fourth place finish at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (Mar. 1-3), a sixth place finish at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational at Air Force (Sept. 9-11) and a ninth place showing at Fresno State's Nick Watney Invitational (Sept. 26-27) ... finished tied for 15th at the Big West Championship at 2-over 218 ... was one of five Matadors named to the Big West All-Academic Team.Â
CSUN- 2021-22Â (Junior)
Thomassen competed in all 12 tournaments and 33 rounds for the Matadors during his junior season ... ranked third on the team with a career-best 73.12 scoring average after taking 2,413 strokes over 33 rounds ... was named All-Big West (second team) ... boasts a career scoring average of 73.73 with 5,530 strokes over 75 rounds in his Matador career ... led CSUN with six top-20 finishes ... tied for second in two tournaments, his best-ever collegiate finishes ... fired an even-par 216 (70-74-72) to finish second at CSUN's Bill Cullum Invitational and was also carded a four-under 140 (67-73) to take second at the UC Santa Barbara Collegiate (Apr. 11-12) ... also had 17th, 18th and a pair of 19th place finishes ... low round of the season (67) came at UCSB and low tournament total (208) came at the Pacific Invitational (Oct. 21-23) ... was one of four Matadors named to the Big West All-Academic Team.Â

Thomassen competed in six of seven tournaments and 18 of 21 rounds for the Matadors during the abbreviated spring season ... ranked third on the team with a scoring average of 75.0 after taking 1,350 strokes over 18 rounds ... posted his best collegiate finish, tying for ninth at the Sacramento State Invitational (Mar. 1-2) ... carded rounds of 77-69-68 to finish at (-2) 214 which is a career-best for 54 holes ... also had one top-20 finish, tying for 17th at the UC San Diego Invitational at (+17) 228 ... fired a career-low round of 64 in the final round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (Feb. 19-21) ...posted two rounds in the 60's which also included a 68 at Sac State ... heads into his third season with a career scoring average of 74.2 with 3,117 strokes over 42 career rounds.Â
CSUN- 2019-20 (Freshman)
Thomassen competed in all eight tournaments and 24 rounds in his first season at CSUN ... was one of two CSUN players to play in all eight tournaments (Mats Ege) ... ranked second on the Matadors with a 73.6 scoring average after taking 1,767 strokes over 24 rounds ... posted three top-20 finishes as a freshman ... was CSUN's low player in two of the first three tournaments of the season, including a season-low 12th-place finish (-2, 214) Air Force's Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational (Sept. 24-25) ... had the Matadors' low tournament score of the season, carding a four-under 209 at the Nick Watney Invitational (Sept. 30-Oct. 1) to tie for 19th ... placed 12th at the Sacramento State Invitational (Mar. 2-3) with a tournament score of (+8) 224.Â
