Thomas Burou competed in 11 of 12 tournaments and 32 rounds in his second season ... posted a CSUN career-best scoring average of 775.50 after taking 2,411 strokes over 32 rounds ... heads into his third season with a CSUN career scoring average of 75.86 with 4,440 strokes over 58 career rounds ... posted his first career top-10 finish at the season opening Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational (Sept. 9-11), finishing at one-over 217 ... tied for 11th at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational (Oct. 20-22) with a career-low round of 5-under 208 ... fired rounds of 69-67-72 with his second round 67 a career-low for 18 holes ... also finished under-par at the UC San Diego Invitational (Mar. 27-28), tying for 29th at 2-under 214 (72-72-70).
CSUN - 2021-22 (Junior)
Burou competed in 10 tournaments and 26 rounds in his first season at CSUN ... posted a scoring average of 76.50 after taking 1,989 strokes over 26 rounds ... low round of the season was a two-under 70 in the final round of the UCSB Collegiate (Apr. 11-12) ... finished with low 54-hole score of 225 at both the Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct 11-12) and the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational (Oct. 21-23) ... best finish of the season was a tie for seventh at the UCSB Collegiate.
INDIAN HILLS COMMUNITYÂ COLLEGE
Burou spent two seasons (2019-20, 20-21) at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa ... earned honorable mention All-American accolades for the Warriors in 2021 after finishing 14th at (+4) 292 at the NJCAA Division I National Championships at The Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas in May ... posted a 72.9 scoring average with a low-round of 67 in 2021 ... posted five top-five finishes while finishing in the top ten seven times ... also had 10 rounds of even par or better while also excelling in the classroom, accumulating with a 3.2 grade point average.Â
