Â
PERSONAL
Son of Matt and Hailey Kingsley … favorites include Liverpool, Christian Pulisic, Matt Damon, Millie Bobby Brown, The Office, Guardians of the Galaxy, Cereal, Coldplay, Andy Mineo, and CoolMathGames.com … chose CSUN because he saw an incredible opportunity to play in the highest division in my sport … CSUN has had many student athletes go on to further their athletic and academic careers and that is something that I admire and would like to strive towards … He was able to visit the campus prior and I could definitely see myself attending college at CSUN … He contacted his friends and family who had attended CSUN and their athletic programs and they only had amazing things to say … At the end of the day before making my decision, it was a no brainer that I was going to be a Matador … says his greatest sports moment so far is was winning the 2022 National Cup with the Santa Barbara Soccer Club 2004 Boys Elite team and being able to serve as the team captain was an incredible moment … says the best thing about being an athlete is that you get to have fun playing the game that you love and one of the most special things about being an athlete, is the community … says the toughest thing about being an athlete is the physical work you put your body through, it can be fun playing your favorite sport, but at the end of the day you still need to suffer pain and mental toughness to get the best out of yourself. And probably the toughest thing about being an athlete is the timing, sports take up so much of our lives, that we have much less time to work a job, focus on school, build outside relationships, and have a social life. It’s a harsh reality that all athletes take on, but we all make the choice to set aside the time for sports and I think most of us would say that everything that’s tough about being an athlete, is all worth it … the most famous person he has met is Katie Taylor … the person in history he would like to meet is Kobe Bryant … says his greatest hero is his dad because of the way he has approached his life and the amount of hard work that he’s put in to help the family get where we are today has been really inspiring.
