Palinic appeared and started in 14 matches in his first season with CSUN ... played the fourth-most minutes on the team with 1,226 ... totaled two shots with one on goal ... appeared in every minute of all nine Big West matches ... played full time over his last 12 matches of the season.
PRIOR TO CSUN
Played freshman season in 2022 for St. Francis (N.Y.) … started five of 12 appearances for the Terriers … scored three goals, posted two assists … took nine shots … named NEC Rookie of the Week on Sept. 26, 2022, after scoring a goal, earning an assist, and drawing a penalty kick in SFC’s 6-0 victory over Howard.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played the midfield for Dandenong City in the NPL Victoria semi-professional league ... appeared for the Dandenong City senior team from 2020-21 and appeared for the U20 squad in 2020 ... A 2019 graduate of Brentwood Secondary College, where he also competed as a member of the track and field team ... helped Brentwood take second place in the 4x100m relay at the 2018 School Sport Victoria Secondary Track & Field Championships and was named a “House” athletics champion in his age group at Brentwood that year.

Son of Goran and Dragana Palinic … favorites include Real Madrid, Adam Sandler, Angelina Jolie, Prison Brake, Lasagna, and Grse … chose CSUN because it is one of the top schools in the country, the values and opportunities that CSUN gives are second to none, the coaching staff are super professional and have played a big part in choosing CSUN … says his greatest sports moment is when Croatia defeated England in the semifinals of the 2018 World Cup, he may not have been a part of the team, but when Mandzukic scored the goal in extra time, the chills, and thrills, brought him were unforgettable … says the best thing about being an athlete is being able to focus your mind onto something else other than studying and keeping fit while also finishing his degree is a massive bonus … says the toughest thing about being an athlete is having a good balance of studying, training and seeing friends … says the best athlete he has played against is Archie Thompson … the most famous person he has met is Luka Modric … the person he would like to meet in history is his grandfather who passed away before he was born … would like to switch places with Cristiano Ronaldo for one day … the two people he would like to have dinner with Ronaldo and Modric … the best advice he has been given is whatever you’re doing, make sure you do it at 100 percent … his advice to young people is listen to your elders … says his greatest hero is his father because everything he does in life, he does with purpose, he always looks to teach you something not matter how hard it can be, he is a very hardworking man, coming from a country where he had very little, he moved to Australia for a better life and that he got with sheer hard work, and love for his family.
