2010 (R-JUNIOR): Competed in 17 contests…finished the season with two goals and one assist, earning five points in the process…was third on the team in shots with 25…had one game-winning goal, a header in the 90th minute at then-No. 7 ranked UC Irvine to give the Matadors a 2-1 victory.
2009 (R-SOPHOMORE): Played in nine games…finished the season with three assists earned in one game vs. UC Riverside (Oct. 31)…his three assists in one game now stands as not only a team-high mark for the season, but the most assists collected in one game by a Matador in the last ten years…took a total of nine shots with four on goal.
2008 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
2007 (FRESHMAN): Played in 19 games, making two starts in the midfield…scored his first career goal in a 3-1 loss to UC Davis on Oct. 17…assisted on the only Northridge goal in a 1-0 win over Cal St. Fullerton on Oct. 24…scored the deciding goal in a 1-0 win over UC Riverside on Nov. 10…finished in a tie for fifth on the team with five points.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of El Camino Real High School…played the 2005 and 2006 seasons for the Conquistadors, starting both seasons in the midfield…elected captain as a senior…was named to the Burroughs Invitational All-Tournament team in his senior season…graduated with a 3.2 GPA.
PERSONAL: Father is Luis Bonvehi and stepmother is Esther Solorzano…favorites include Adam Sandler, “The Simpsons”, Argentinian food, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and “The Goonies”…says the best thing about being an athlete is “staying in shape and playing the game you love”, lists the toughest thing as "performing as a consistent player”…likes to go to the beach or lay in bed when he has time to relax…if he had a million dollars, he would “buy everything I want”…best advice he's ever received is "keep on keeping on”…advice for young people is “choose your decisions carefully.”
