2014 Honorable Mention All-Big West Conference
2014 (R-SENIOR): Appeared in all but one match...made 16 starts as a defender and had one assist and one point....took five shots on the season, helping the Matadors build the attack from the back...his assist came in the team's 1-0 home win over Bradley (Sept. 14).
2013 (R-JUNIOR): Started 22 matches...took eight shots and recorded five assists from his outside back position for five points...first career assist came in a win over Memphis (Sept. 1), and he also had assists against Central Arkansas (Sept. 13), UNLV (Sept. 20), and Cal Poly twice (Oct. 13, Nov. 12)...when Giron picked up an assist, the Matadors went 5-0.
2012 (R-SOPHOMORE): Competed in 16 matches and made one start...took one shot.
2011 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
PRIOR TO CSUN:Â Was a starter and team captain at Arizona Western in 2010...playing as a defender, Giron helped his team win the state championship and he was named the Honorable Player of the Year...earned his AA degree in 2011 with a 3.3 GPA...attended Pasadena College in 2009 but did not compete in any sport.HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of San Fernando High School...played soccer for head coach Norman Mejia for two seasons...named the Rookie of the Year in 2007 and the team MVP in 2009.
