OUTDOOR: Competed in one event, the season-opening UCSB Invitational ... ran a personal-best :12.85 in the 100m to finish eighth ... ran on the CSUN 4x400m relay that placed third (4:00.31).
INDOOR: Entered two events, the Spokane Indoor Challenge and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Invitational ... ran the 400m in Spokane, going 1:01.08 ... ran the 200m at the Dr. King Invitational, posting a time of :26.61.
CSUN - 2022 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR: Ran the 200m six times, posting a best time of :25.78 at the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational ... competed in the 400m three times, recording a best of :58.02 at the UCSB Invitational ... entered the long jump three times, going a season best 17-4 at the UC Riverside Twilight Open ... placed 12th in the long jump at the Big West Championship (17-2 3/4).

Son of Kenneth Austin and Tryna Howard … a Kinesiology-Exercise Science major...favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, the late Kobe Bryant, Morris Chestnut, Taraji P Henson, Power, The Cookout, Mexican Food, Mindless Behavior, Brent Faiyaz, and Amazon.com … chose CSUN because it was close to home … says greatest sports moment so far is winning CIF titles ... says the best thing about being an athlete is being fit … says the toughest thing about being an athlete are the tough workouts … the most famous person she has met is Brent Faiyaz … the person in history she would like to meet is Malcolm X … would like to switch places for one day with Brent Faiyaz … her greatest hero is her mom who she says does everything for her.
