2009 Honorable Mention All-Big West Conference
2010 (SENIOR): Appeared in 17 contests, making eight starts, in 2010...finished year 3-5 with a 5.75 ERA, three complete games, one shutout and 12 strikeouts in 48.2 innings of work...picked up first win of the season in Matadors' 5-3 victory at Cal Poly on May 1...tossed a shutout at UC Riverside on May 8 and earned second win of the weekend the following day in CSUN's 7-5 win against the Highlanders...finished 3-1 with a 2.62 ERA and two complete games in 29.1 innings against Big West opponents.
2009 (JUNIOR): Received honorable mention All-Conference honors...made 28 starts and appeared in 39 contests...posted an 18-12 overall record with a 2.43 ERA, 79 strikeouts and a .269 batting-average-against in 176 innings of work...led all CSUN pitchers in wins, appearances, innings pitched and strikeouts...nailed down a team high two saves...posted a 4-7 mark with a 3.81 ERA and 24 K's in 64.1 innings of work against league opponents...added 15 complete games and three shutouts during the year...picked up first career CSUN win in season-opening victory over Liberty on Feb. 6...tossed complete game shutouts against Pacific and Rutgers...won all five CSUN's games at San Diego Classic II from Mar. 13-15...named Big West Co-Pitcher of the Week on Mar.16 after performance in San Diego...ranked among Big West top 10 in wins, ERA, innings pitched, appearances, games started, complete games and shutouts...as a batter, hit .143 with two hits and two runs scored in 14 at-bats.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Duran was a two-year starter for San Jose City College...earned 2007 and 2008 pitcher of the year for the Jaguars...a member of the South Coast Conference Champions in 2007, 2008.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Oak Grove High School...a two sport letter winner...played four years of softball and was a two year captain for coach Frank King...named varsity senior of the year in 2006...a member of 2003-2005 Blossom Valley Athletic League championship team.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Dawnelle and Abraham Duran...majoring in child and adolescent development...has two sisters, Sarah and Rebekah and two brothers, Joshua and Alex...favorites include the San Francisco Giants, Brad Pitt and the television show "One Tree Hill"...lists the best athlete she has played against as Monica Abbot...listens to music as a pregame ritual...would like to be stranded on a desert island with James Lafferty.
