2012 (SENIOR): Started all 15 games in which she appeared...hit .200 with one RBI...scored five runs...walked three times...was 4-of-4 in stolen bases.
2011 (JUNIOR): Named first team All-Conference...started all 53 games at second base...batted a career high .327 for the year...also set new career bests with 50 hits, 31 runs, 12 doubles, nine home runs, 91 total bases, 23 walks and 19 stolen bases...the 19 stolen bases established a new program Division-I record and are tied for sixth in school history for a single season...now has 29 stolen bases in her career, tied for eighth in school history...was a perfect 12-for-12 in stolen base attempts during the Big West season...up to 19 career home runs, the eighth-most in school history...the 12 doubles tie her with two other Matadors for 10th-most in school history for a single year...finished year with 11 multi-hit games and 5 multi-RBI games...tied a career high with four hits against San Diego on Mar. 20...matched a career high with three runs scored in two different games...had a home run in nine different games...named Big West Player of the Week on Mar. 21 after hitting .619 with six extra-base hits in the previous week’s seven games...tied a school record with three stolen bases against UC Riverside in game two of a doubleheader on May 7...ranked among the Top 10 in Big West Conference in the following offensive categories; slugging percentage (.595), hits, runs, home runs, doubles, total bases, walks, and stolen bases...posted a .962 fielding percentage in 266 defensive chances at second base.
2010 (SOPHOMORE): Selected first team All-Conference...appeared in 52 games and made 49 starts, all at second base...finished among the Big West Top 10 in 12 different offensive categories...set new career highs with .324 batting average, 27 runs, 46 hits, 11 doubles, two triples, eight home runs, 44 RBIs, 85 total bases, .599 slugging percentage, .424 on-base percentage and six stolen bases...44 RBIs ranks eighth in school history for a single season...finished the year on a 10-game hitting streak and batted .364 with 24 hits, 14 runs, five doubles, six home runs 23 RBIs and .712 slugging percentage against Big West opponents...drove in four RBIs on two occasions and totaled 11 multi-RBI games for the season...had career high four hits at Pacific on Apr. 18...scored career high three runs twice...stole career high two bases twice...sported .965 fielding percentage (111 PO, 82 A, 7 E) for the season.
2009 (FRESHMAN): Played in 37 games and made 30 starts in rookie season...batted .174 with 15 hits, 13 runs scored, three doubles, two home runs, 10 RBIs, 24 total bases, 10 walks, two sac bunts and four stolen bases...hit first career home run in first career game (Liberty, Feb. 6)...had season high two hits on three separate occasions...drove in season high two RBIs in two different games...also blasted a home run against Portland State on Mar. 8...sported a .966 fielding percentage, making 14 put-outs and 14 assists...recorded season high two stolen bases at UC Davis on May 8.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Spanish Springs High School..coach was Jeff Davidson...played four seasons of softball...earned All-High Desert League honors following all four seasons...member of back-to-back Nevada state softball championship teams...named to All-Nevada State Softball Team in 2007 and 2008...graduated with a 3.0 GPA.
PERSONAL: Daughter of John Carlsen and Shelly Dressi...majoring in criminal justice...brother, Brad, plays baseball at College of Idaho...includes the Boston Red Sox and center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury and the band Rascal Flatts as some of her favorites...would like to switch places with the President for a day...advice to young people is to “keep with it”.
