2014 (R-SENIOR): Appeared in 25 games and made five starts...a two-way threat, Tyler made three appearances in the circle...tossed 6.1 innings with two strikeouts for the season...tossed 2.1 innings at Bakersfield...had five hits and a double and RBI at the plate...RBI came in victory over Grand Canyon...selected Academic All-Conference.
2013 (R-JUNIOR): Appeared in 41 games and made 24 starts...at the plate, Tyler batted .169 with 13 hits on the season...added five runs, three doubles, a home run and nine RBIs on the season... had a season high two hits against UC Santa Barbara …hit a key three-run home run in a win over UC Riverside...in the circle, Tyler went 0-3 with a 6.15 ERA...earned a save in a win at UC Santa Barbara...tossed a season high 4.1 innings against Arizona State and had a season high three strikeouts in a game against Idaho State.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Spent two seasons at Northwestern...had a 2.55 ERA in six appearances in 2011...participated in one game in 2010 before injuries ended her season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Deer Valley High School...a three-time All-State selection and four-time first team All-Region...chosen first team All-Big City...led her team to the regional championship in three of her seasons, making the state semifinals in 2008, 2010, and the title game in 2009...ran four years of cross country and played three years of soccer...played seven years of club with the Arizona Storm and won both ASA State and Hall of Fame championships..team ook fifth at ASA Nationals in 2008...a member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society and Principal’s List.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Patricia and Brian Tyler... pursuing her master’s degree in public administration. has two sisters, Stephanie and Christina...favorites include the Arizona Diamondbacks, Harrison Ford, Kristin Wiig and “Saturday Night Live”...person in history she would most like to meet is Jane Austen...lists her mom as her greatest hero.
