Nunez appeared in 49 games, making 48 starts ... totaled 23 hits, 11 RBI, eight runs scored and one double to go with a .223 batting average ... topped the team with eight sacrifice hits, which also ranked fourth in the Big West ... led CSUN with 87 assists while she was second with 11 double plays ... drove in two runs in a win over Maryland (2/10/24) ... went 2-for-3 with an RBI vs. Seattle U (2/23/24) ... scored and knocked in two runs vs. UC San Diego (5/3/24) ... capped the season with another two-hit game while scoring twice at UC Santa Barbara (5/11/24) ... named to Big West All-Academic Team and an NFCA Scholar-Athlete.

Started all 50 games in which she appeared ... her 109 at-bats were the seventh most on the team ... posted 14 RBI, the fifth most on the team ... charted 18 hits, two of which were doubles, and had one home run ... walked 18 times, the second most on the squad ... tallied six sacrifice hits and two sacrifice flies.

A 2021 graduate of Royal High School … coach was Bill Dishon … named the team’s Best Defensive Player and second team All-League as a senior … chosen first team All-League as a freshman ... appeared in 61 career games for the Highlanders, scoring 24 runs and posting 21 RBI.

Daughter of Vince and Susan Nunez … a Psychology major ... favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Sis Bates, Dove Cameron, Zack Effron, Vampire Diaries, Fast n Furious, Salads, Sublime, and Drake … chose CSUN because it is a very good program and is close to home … says the best thing about being an athlete is getting work in which allows her to remain in shape … says the worst thing about being an athlete is always having to give 100% and pushing yourself through it all when you want to give up … the most famous person she has met is Demi Lovato … the person in history she would like to meet is Sis Bates … the best advice she has been given is no matter how hard a practice or game is, always push hard and never give up, after the game you won’t remember the hard the difficult parts were, you will remember how much fun you had and all the nice teammates you played with … her advice to young people is to set goals and don’t ever give up until you get to where you want to be in life … her greatest heroes are her mom and dad who she says are always pushing her to be the best and believing in her to accomplish anything she would want to.
