Played in three singles matches and four doubles matches on the season… Was a perfect 4-0 in doubles, 3-0 with Santibanez Luna and 1-0 with Moratalla Sanz… Her only Big West contest was against Long Beach State (2/15) with her and Santibanez Luna winning 7-6, 7-5 Her lone win in singles came against LMU (2/2) where she won 3-6, 6-2, 7-5 in a three-set thriller…
CSUN - 2024 (Junior)
West competed in 12 total duals on the season ... compiled a 6-4 record in singles while playing primarily at No. 5 and No. 6 ... posted a 2-0 record in doubles on the season ... won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1, in singles over UC Riverside to open the season (2/15/24) ... earned a pair of 6-0 doubles wins over Chaminade and Westmont (3/26/24) ... picked up another singles win, this time in three sets, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, at Cal State Fullerton (3/28/24).
PRIOR TO CSUN
Played women’s tennis at Santa Monica College from 2022-23 … won the 2023 CCCAA Singles championship, 6-2, 1-6, 6-1 against Hana Moss of the College of the Desert … concluded season by earning CCCAA All-American honors and No. 1 in the ITA rankings … finished second at the 2022 CCCAA Singles Championship, losing only match of a 26-1 season in the finals of the CCCAA Tournament … placed second at the CCCAA State Championships in doubles with partner Kai Nikchevich as the duo recorded a 25-1 mark and a No. 2 ITA ranking on the year … was named 2022 CCCAA All-American in both singles and doubles … a two-time Western State Conference singles champion … won the 2022 WSC doubles title with Nikchevich … selected as a 2022 ITA Scholar-Athlete.

Daughter of Jim and Katerina West … favorites include the Denver Broncos, Justin Henin, Matthew McConaughey, Lucille Ball, I Love Lucy, Rear Window, Japanese Curry, The Strokes, Fred Again, and Youtube.com … chose CSUN because of the strong tennis team … says greatest sports moment so far is winning the 2023 CCCAA Singles Championship … says the best thing about being an athlete is the built-in structure and routine … says the toughest thing about being an athlete are the injuries … the most famous person she has met is Julia Roberts … the person in history she would like to meet is Winston Churchill … would like to switch places for one day with a professional musician … the biggest obstacle she has overcome is her right shoulder injury … her greatest tennis hero is Roger Federer because he never pulled out in the middle of a match which shows a lot of respect and fortitude.
