Steffi Miller appeared in all nine matches in CSUN's first-ever season of sand volleyball ... finished the season 1-5 paired with Julie Haake and was 0-4 paired with Sam Kaul ... teamed up with Haake to defeat No. 5 UCLA 21-15, 21-18 in the season-opener on Mar. 6 ... played one match at No. 3, seven matches at No. 4 and and two at No. 5.
ARAGON HIGH SCHOOL
Miller was a four-year starter at setter/hitter at Aragon High School in San Mateo, Calif. ... was named Most Valuable Player for the Dons as a senior in 2011 ... was also named team captain during her senior season ... earned All-Peninsula Athletic League honors all four years including first team accolades in 2011 and 2012 ...played for the Vision 18 Golf club team which was ranked number one in the country most of the club season in 2012 ... earned Bronze medals in the 18 open division in 2012 and in the 14 open division in 2008 at the Junior Olympics ... graduated in 2012 with a 3.9 grade point average.
