CSUN - 2024 (Freshman)
Flores competed in five meets on the season … set a PR in the 8k of 26:20.9 at the Big West Championships, taking 81st place overall ... recorded a 6k time of 20:05.8 to capture 25th-place points (38th overall) at the Waves Invite (8/30/24).
PRIOR TO CSUN
Flores attended Granada Hills Charter High School where he graduated with honors ... spent four years on the track & field team, three on the cross country team and his freshman season on the football team ... helped the track & field team to a CIF state championship in 2023 along with three consecutive CIF L.A. City Section titles ... also helped the cross country team to a runner-up finish in the Division I L.A. City Championships in 2023 ... his high school bests were 1:55.96 in the 800m, 4:21.80 in the 1600m, 9:54.14 in the 32000m and 14:44.4 in the 5k ... also competed for the USATF 2002 Pacific Coast Shockwaves.

Parents are Fred Flores and Roes Espinoza ... he has six brothers: Jimmy, Johnny, Jessie, Alfred, Justin and Anthony and three sisters: Gina, Heather and Jennifer ... his brother Anthony attends CSUN as well ... favorites include the Seattle Seahawks, D.K. Metcalf, Tom Cruise, Scarlett Johansson, Suits, Top Gun: Maverick, The Eagles, J. Cole and chili cheese fries ... says setting a personal best in the 800m and 5k at his high school are his favorite sports moments ... enjoys cooking ... says his late brother Alfred is his hero because he inspired him to do what his brother couldn't do, and everything he's done so far in life has had some purpose for hs brother.
