Katelin King will begin her second season as the Director of Women's Basketball Operations in the Fall of 2022.

A former women's basketball player for CSUN, King rejoins the Matador program from Idaho State where she served as an assistant coach during the 2019-20 season. King oversaw all aspects of scheduling practices, workouts, classes, film sessions, and recruiting for the Bengals. She was responsible for coordinating all travel arrangements for the players and staff including flights, hotels, rental vehicles/buses, food reservations, and day to day game operations. King oversaw and balanced the programs travel and equipment budget. She ordered and inventoried all equipment including uniforms, travel gear, practice equipment and shoes. King coordinated the program’s community outreach/service opportunities as well as monitored and reestablished the programs social media presence.

King moved to Pocatello from Concordia-Irvine where she was a graduate assistant coach under former CSUN assistant Christine Collins-Kiernan. King was responsible for offensive development and play calling. She led individual skill development and film sessions and was responsible for practice and game video breakdown, she also directed the development of scouting reports and game plans. King received her master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from CUI.

King graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from CSUN in 2017. As a member of the Matadors, she was a part of CSUN’s 2014 and 2015 Big West conference tournament championships and CSUN’s 2014 Big West regular season championship. She played in two NCAA tournaments for the Matadors. King medically retired prior to her senior year but joined the staff as an undergraduate assistant and was the team's video coordinator. She was responsible for filming and editing practice and game film, as well as tracking individual statistics.
