2018-19 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 29 games, starting one…second on the squad in made three-point field goals (31) and three-point field goal attempts (107)…third on the team in steals with 24…posted a career best five steals against Long Beach State Jan. 26…averaged 4.0 points and 1.2 rebounds per game…charted a season best 15 at Drake Nov. 18…
2017-18 (FRESHMAN): Helped CSUN to the Big West Tournament title with a jumper that was banked in in the final moments of the championship game against UC Davis Mar. 10...after only in playing in seven of the first 27 Matadors’ games this season, Brooks played in the final eight games and made six straight starts...scored 75-of-her 96 points in the last eight games including a season high 24 in the NCAA Tournament against Notre Dame...tied the school record for most made three-pointers in a game against the Fighting Irish with eight.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Gilmer High School (Gilmer is in eastern Texas near the Louisiana border...coach was Mandi Simpson…set single-game school records for points (42) and three-pointers (10)...averaged 17 points, five assists, five steals and two rebounds per game as a senior…a four-time first team all-district honoree...was honored on the All-Texas Team twice and was named the East Texas Basketball Player of the Year in 2017...concluded her high school career as Gilmer’s all-time leading scorer...a member of the National Honor Society and ranked in the top 10 of her graduating class.
PERSONAL: Aspires to be a neurosurgeon once she is done playing basketball and plans to major in biochemistry...started at guard for the Texas United Nike Blue 17U club team and head coach Kacie Byford.
