2009-10 All-Big West Freshman Team
2010-11 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 17 games, making 11 starts…averaged career-high 8.9 points, scoring 152 for the season…dished out 44 assists, an average of 2.6 per game…finished at 79.3 percent from the free throw line (73-of-92)…grabbed 28 rebounds on the year, an average of 1.6 per game…scored a career-high 24 points against Tennessee-Chattanooga on Nov. 27…had a season-high 13 free throws in the loss to the Lady Mocs…scored 20 points against UTEP, including a career-high three three-pointers, on Dec. 3…set a career high with five field goals in two different games…had a season-high six rebounds at New Mexico State on Dec. 5…dished out a season-high seven assists, which tied a career high, in season opener against Pepperdine on Nov. 17…had a season-high three steals, tying a career best, in a season-high 39 minutes at Pacific on Dec. 31…knocked down a career-high 13 3-pointers for the season.
2009-10 (FRESHMAN): Named to All-Big West Conference Freshman team after averaging 6.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists…appeared in all 28 games. starting 16…led Matadors with 82 free throws and 112 free throw attempts…finished 14-of-17 from the charity stripe in first career game, tying for third in the school's Division I history for both makes and attempts…scored season-high 20 points against New Mexico State on Nov. 13, the first game of her NCAA career…also had season-high eight rebounds and seven assists against Aggies…tied season high with seven assists against Cal Poly on Jan. 23…led CSUN with 82 assists for the season and also had 26 steals…averaged 6.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists during Big West season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Punahou High School…a four-year standout for the Buff n' Blue in basketball…named Interscholastic League of Hawai'i MVP following 2009 season…selected 2009 Hawai'i Defensive Player of the Year and named first team All-State…a member of two state championship teams and three ILH championship squads.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Pauline and Larry Nomura… majoring in kinesiology…has two sisters, Jamie and Julianne…favorites include Japanese food, Kobe Bryant, Angelina Jolie and the TV show "Grey's Anatomy"…would spend an entire day with UCLA legend John Wooden if she were NCAA President for a day…says the best advice she has ever received is "Love is playing with nothing but heart.”
