Kelcie Randazzo appeared in all nine matches in CSUN's firs tseason of sand volleyball ... was paired most of the season with Sydney Gedryn but also played with Stephanie Serna ... posted a 2-7 record with Gedryn and was 0-1 with Serna ... was 0-5 playing with Gedryn at No. 1 but was 2-2 playing in the No. 2 spot ... with Gedryn, defeated UCLA 20-22, 21-19, 15-13 in the season opener (Mar. 6), one of two CSUN's wins in the match ... also defeated Oregon (21-18, 21-11) in the season finale on Mar. 27.
LA SERNA HIGH SCHOOL
Randazzo was a four-year starter and a four-time team captain at LaSerna High School in Whittier, Calif. ... earned San Gabriel Valley All-Area Player of the Year as a senior as well as CIF and Southern Section second team honors ... earned team MVP honors in leading the Lancers to an undefeated record and league championship ...earned first team All-Area honors as both a sophomore and junior... her volleyball squad went undefeated all four years ... also lettered for the basketball and softball teams while in high school... graduated in 2010 with a 3.0 grade point average.

Born September 16, 1992 in Beverly Hills, Calif. ... parents are Corinne and Stephen Randazzo ... has one older brother, Stephen and one older sister, Korinne who played for the CSUN softball team ...favorites include the Los Angeles Lakers, international soccer star David Beckham, actor Bradley Cooper, the TV show "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and the movie "Pitch Perfect" ... says she chose CSUN in part "to play at the same college as my sister" ... says her best moment in sports was "advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament my junior year" ... major is Pre-Medicine Psychology.
