CSUN - 2021 (Junior)
Seyvion Waggoner played in 25 of CSUN's 26 beach matches during her junior season ... paired with Lexi McLeod for all 25 matches, finishing the season with a 9-16 overall record ... heads into her senior season with 15 career wins ... with McLeod, finished 8-9 in dual matches and 1-7 in tournament matches ... posted all nine wins (9-14) at the No. 2 position and finished 0-2 playing as the Matadors' No. 1 pair ... won a season-best four straight dual matches from Apr. 2-3 which included wins over Vanguard, Pacific, Concordia and St. Katherine ... finished 1-2 at the Big West Championship tournament, defeating Sacramento State (13-21, 21-17, 15-8) while falling to No. 15 Hawai'i and CSU Bakersfield.
CSUN - 2020 (Sophomore)
Waggoner played in three of five matches for CSUN during the abbreviated 2020 season ... played two matches with Mikaela Maughan at No. 2 and once with Abbey Sweeting in the No. 6 exhibition match ... finished 1-1 with Maughan posting a 2-0 win over Santa Clara and a loss to Saint Mary's (Mar. 7) ... picked up a 2-0 win playing with Sweeting in the exhibition match against San Francisco to open the Big West/West Coast Conference Challenge (Mar. 7) in Santa Cruz.
CSUN - 2019 (Freshman)
Waggoner played in all 28 of CSUN's beach matches during her freshman season ... finished the season with an overall record of 4-24 playing with Daniella Molinari ... the pair posted a 4-22 record at No. 1 and an 0-2 record at No. 2 ... finished with a 3-15 dual match record and a 1-9 tournament record ... picked up wins over Vanguard (2-1), Marymount (2-0, 2-0) and UC Davis (2-1) ... came back from one set down to defeat the Aggies in the opening match of the Big West Tournament at Zuma Beach (Apr. 26).
RICE UNIVERSITY
Waggoner played one season of indoor volleyball at Rice University in Houston, Texas ... as a true freshman in 2017, played in 84 sets, totaling 208 kills (2.48 kills per set) ... finished fourth on the Owls with 234.5 points and was fifth on the team with 11 service aces ... posted 10 or more kills in 11 matches, including a season-high 14 kills on four separate occasions … selected to the Rice Invitational I All-Tournament Team … named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
BOUNTIFUL HIGH SCHOOL
Waggoner lettered in indoor volleyball, basketball and track at Bountiful High School in Bountiful, Utah ... was named an AVCA Phenom Athlete with one of the highest VPI scores in the nation ... also earned All-State Team honors in addition to AVCA and Max Preps Player of the Week ... earned first team Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune honors in both 2016 and 2017 ...was part of two state championship teams ... also played for the USA High Performance A1 Team ... graduated in 2017 and was an honor roll student every year during high school.

Born May 9, 1999 in Arizona ... mother is Lynsi Neve ... favorite team is the Boston Celtics ... says the best thing about being an athlete is "The Grind" and the toughest is "Not reaching your potential or accomplishing your goals" ... says she couldn't imagine going a week without "Working out" ... lists her mom as her greatest hero because "She is strong, beautiful, hard working, smart, determined, brave and so much more" ... majoring in kinesiology/exercise science.
