Ismael "Sammy" Samano begins his fourth season on the CSUN cross country staff in 2016.
Samano is a 2013 graduate of New Mexico Highlands University. He earned his degree in Human Performance and Exercise Science.
He prepped at nearby James Monroe High School where he was part of the City champion cross country squad in 2005. Samano graduated in 2006 before attending Moorpark College in Moorpark, Calif.
