Ung earned All-Big West Honorable Mention accolades in doubles with Victoria Santibañez Luna ... competed mainly in doubles during the season, compiling a 9-6 record at No. 2 ... went 2-0 as well in singles ... posted a 5-0 record to begin the season in doubles ... registered a 6-4 doubles win over San José State (2/25/24) ... defeated ranked Washington State in doubles 6-2 (3/22/24) ... picked up straight set wins over Chaminade and Westmont (3/26/24) ... posted a 6-4 doubles win over Hawai'i (4/21/24) ... earned Big West All-Academic Team honors.

Daughter of Ly and Huoy Ung … favorites include Ashleigh Barty, Ryan Reynolds, Zendaya, Jujutsu Kaisen, Spiderman No Way Home, Sushi, Egoist, and Lisa … chose CSUN because since it is closer to home, the coaches and the types of majors they offer … says greatest sports moment so far is Winning a Level 1 Tournament in singles … says the best thing about being an athlete is being able to meet new people … says the toughest thing about being an athlete is you don’t get a lot of free time, being an athlete is almost a full time job, depending on how much time you spend on it … says the best athlete she has played against is Tsehay Driscoll … the most famous person she has met is Rafael Nadal … the person in history she would like to meet is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ... the two people she would like to have dinner with is Zendaya and Tom Holland … says the best advice she has been given is don’t procrastinate because it’ll catch up to you…her advice to young people is try to manage your time wisely … says her greatest heroes are her parents since they did a lot for her when she was little.
