Taylor Russo returns to the CSUN Sports Medicine team as a second-year graduate assistant athletic trainer in 2017-18. Russo works with the CSUN women’s indoor volleyball and beach volleyball teams.
A native of Houston, Texas, Russo earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from Baylor University. While at Baylor, she assisted with many collegiate teams including football, baseball, acrobatics and tumbling, track and field, and softball. She also worked with local area high schools while at Baylor.
This past summer, Russo interned at the University of Houston with their football program and summer sport camps.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport Studies, with a plan to graduate May of 2018.
