2010 (SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: An alternate on the Matador 4x400 relay team that advanced to the NCAA?Championships in Eugene, Ore...reached the NCAA?West Region Championships in the 400 meter hurdles as well as both relays...ran a lifetime-best 1:00.37 in the 400 hurdles to finish 27th in the prelims...took second in the 400 hurdles at the Big West Championship (1:00.76) and was fourth in the 100 hurdles (14.14)...ran a personal-best 13.99 in the prelims.
INDOOR: Finished 11th in a lifetime-best 8.93 in the prelims of the 60 meter hurdles at the MPSF Indoor Championship but did not reach the final...was named to the MPSF?All-Academic Team.
2009 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for the 100 and 400 meter hurdles at the Big?West Championship...ran 14.82 in the 100 hurdles to finish eighth and ran 62.48 in the 400 hurdles to take fifth...posted a season-best time of 14.45 in the 100 hurdles at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational at UCLA (Apr. 4) and a season-best of 61.14 in the 400 hurdles at the Mt. SAC?Relays (Apr. 18).
INDOOR: Qualified for the MPSF Indoor Championship in the 60 meter hurdles where she finished 10th in the prelims in a season-best time of 9.02.
PRIOR TO CSUN
Spent two years at Monterey Peninsula College in Monterey, Calif...was a CCCAA All American in the 400 meter Hurdles and also set the school record in both the 100 and 400 hurdles...earned team MVP honors...ran a personal-best 62.51 in the 400 hurdles and 14.94 in the 100 hurdles...earned her Associate of Arts degree in 2007 with a 3.3 grade point average.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Monterey High School...named team MVP for coaches Alan Tucker and Alan Peterson...graduated with a 3.3 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Debra and John Batiste...a psychology major...favorites include Olympic sprinter Allyson Felix, actors Will Smith and Gabrielle Union, the TV show "One-On-One" and the movie "The Best Man".
