2010 (SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Finished third in the 400 meter hurdles at the Big West Championship...ran 1:01.76 in the final after clocking a season-best 1:01.63 to finish second in the prelims...earned All-Big West honors in the 400 hurdles for the third time in four seasons.
INDOOR: Ran indoor season-bests of :8.06 in the 60 meters and :26.21 in the 200 meters at the UW Invitational (Jan. 30).
2009 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: A part of Northridge's 4x100 relay team that qualified for the NCAA?West Regional in Eugene, Ore.,, was the runner-up in the 400 meter hurdles at the Big?West Championship,,,ran a season-best 1:01.14 in the final.
INDOOR: Ran the 60 and 200 meters at the MPSF?Indoor Championship...ran a season-best :26.18 in the final of the 200 meters...also ran a season-best :8.01 in the 60 meter prelims but did not reach the final.
2008 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Finished fifth in the 400 meter hurdles at the Big West Outdoor Championship in a time of 1:02.08...ran a lifetime-best 1:01.00 when she finished third at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational at UCLA.
INDOOR: Placed 16th in the 60 meter hurdles prelims (9.82) at the MPSF Indoor Championship...ran indoor season-bests of :7.99 in the 60 meters and :26.00 in the 200 meters at the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash.
2007 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Finished third in the 400 meter hurdles at the Big West Outdoor Championship in a time of 1:02.28...ran a season-best 1:01.98 in the prelims...her time ranks sixth on the Northridge all-time freshman list...won the 400 meter hurdles event with a time of 1:04.04 at the Tiny Lister Classic at Cal State L.A..
INDOOR: Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Fairfield High School...earned four varsity letters in track...picked up All-SCAC honors from 2003-06 as a sprinter, hurdler and member of the Falcons relay team...Fairfield won the league track & field championships all four years...was elected team captain as a senior in 2006...graduated with a 3.1 grade point average.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Rebecca and Travis Baptist...has three brothers, David King, Bryant King and Marvin Colbert...a biology major...favorites include the TV show "Project Runway", pizza and the group Mary Mary...says her greatest moment in sports was "making it to the state meet my senior year"...prays as a pre-meet ritual.
