Kaia Kanan appeared in 15 matches and 50 sets in her first collegiate season at CSUN in 2022 ... made four starts at setter ... ranked fourth on the team with 186 assists, averaging 3.72 assists per set ... also had 56 digs (1.12 dps) and five aces in her first season ... posted a season-high 20 assists at Cal State Fullerton (Oct. 7) and had a season-high eight digs at San Francisco (Sept. 9) ... served one ace in three different matches, most recently against Long Beach State (Nov. 11).
PALISADES HIGH SCHOOL
Kanan lettered all four years in volleyball at Palisades High School in Pacific Palisades, Calif. ... played setter for Carlos Gray all four seasons ... earned All-City Most Valuable Player honors as well as all-league accolades three straight years ... the Dolphins won the Open Division championship in 2018 and 2020 ... graduated in 2022.
