Miranda Poole appeared in 17 matches and 33 sets in her first season at CSUN ... finished the season with 34 kills, averaging 1.03 kills per set ... hit .212 on 99 total attacks ... also contributed 22 digs (0.67 dps) three aces and three total blocks ... recorded her first kill as a Matador in a six-kill effort against UNLV (Aug. 30) ... also had a season-high eight digs along with her first CSUN ace against the Rebels ... took a season-high 25 swings against Nevada (Sept. 13) ... knocked down a season-high nine kills on .444 hitting in the Matadors' 3-2 win over UC Irvine (Oct. 18) ... hit a season-high .667 with six kills on nine error-less attacks at UCI (Nov. 9).
MOORPARK COLLEGE
Poole played two seasons of indoor volleyball at Moorpark College in Moorpark, Calif. ... also played one season of beach volleyball for the Raiders ...was a first-team All-Western State Conference selection in both 2017 and 2018 and an All-American in 2018 ...was also named a Scholar Athlete following both seasons ... led the Raiders with 282 kills while averaging a team-high 3.97 kills per set in 2018 ... also finished second on the squad with 259 digs (3.65 dps) and 31 aces ... played for former CSUN Men's Volleyball standout Adam Black.
CAMARILLO HIGH SCHOOL
Poole played volleyball all four years at Camarillo High School in Camarillo, Calif. ... was a three-time Offensive Player of the Year for the Scorpions (2014-16) ... started at outside hitter her final two seasons after playing opposite in 2015 ... graduated in 2017 with a 3.75 grade point average.
