NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The Cal State Northridge women's basketball team (1-14, 1-2 Big West) lost 64-50 to Long Beach State Wednesday night at The Matadome. In the second frame, the Matadors closed to within nine points only to see the 49ers respond with a 9-1 run of their own. Northridge would get no closer than 10 the rest of the way as Long Beach State earned its first conference win of the year.
