Petros Papadakis to Throw Out First Pitch Sunday

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. --- This Sunday, May 15, AM 570's Petros Papadakis will throw out a ceremonial first pitch at Matador Field before CSUN takes on UC Davis at 1:00 p.m. Current CSUN broadcaster and longtime Dodger announcer Ross Porter will join Papadakis for the pregame ceremony.

Papadakis returns to Matador Field for the second weekend in a row after last Friday's first pitch was cancelled, along with the game, due to rain.

Tickets to the game are available at the A.S. Ticket Office or by calling (818) 677-2488. CSUN students receive complimentary admission with a CSUN ID.

MISC:
This ceremonial first pitch originated from a Twitter conversation between Papadakis and the Matadors' behind-the-scenes handle @CSUNCapeCrew. After last week's rainout, Papadakis visited with the CSUN Baseball team in the clubhouse.

Ross Porter will also be honored during pregame ceremonies on Sunday as a thank you for his service to CSUN Baseball this season. Porter will call the game on the CSUN Sports Network, and a live audio stream will be available at www.GoMatadors.com.

The Matadors will celebrate their six graduating seniors during pregame ceremonies as well.
