Â
Trejo, the Big West Offensive Player of the Week, recorded two goals and an assist to help the Matadors knock off No. 17 Cornell (3-1) and No. 11 UCLA (2-1). The 5-foot-9 forward notched CSUN's third goal against the Big Red, scoring just 34 seconds after Cornell had narrowed its deficit to 2-1.
Â
Trejo collected an assist on CSUN's first goal against the Bruins, tying the score at 1-1 as his shot rebounded to Wolfgang Prentice, who slotted a shot past the keeper. He recorded his second game-winning goal – and conference-best fifth of the year – at the 65:27 mark. Trejo has tallied at least one point in four of the last five matches, and he leads the Big West with 14 points.
Â

The 6-5 Invermere, B.C. tallied his fifth Big West Defensive Player of the Week honor of his career by posting a 1.00 goals against average and a .778 save percentage.
