Matadors Sharp in Wahine Invitational

HONOLULU - The CSUN women's tennis team competed in the Rainbow Wahine Invite at the University of Hawai'i Tennis Complex Nov. 1-3.

The Matadors took six wins on day one (four Singles, two Doubles), seven wins on day 2 (six singles, one doubles) and three singles wins on the final day.

ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH GARY VICTOR
"We played better each day against some very strong competition. Emma Roenholt led us by playing through injuries and competing for some very hard fought wins vs UH on Days 1 and 2. Ana Isabel Fraile Toboso played a great match on Sunday against one of our regional semifinalists. Jacquie Tan and Lauren Anderson keep growing in confidence and won all three of their singles matches. Lisa-Marie Wurst played her best tennis this fall and proving to be a force in singles and doubles. Victoria Santibañez Luna won two out of three and is ready to take off and be a top player."
