ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH JASON FLOWERS
- "As the game went on, I thought we did things a lot better. Early on in the game, we were selfish on the defensive end of the floor which gave them way too many layups and points in the paint. In the second half, we were locked in to play good team defense. Our kids played hard again, we have kids in new roles and they are figuring things out. Our freshmen coming off the bench and did some things well and I think they will improve as the season goes on. We are never happy with a loss, but we feel like we are making progress and going in the right direction."
